Don't feel bad, I'm down $3400 on WYNN! My 2nd worst stock of the year. 1. LF, 2. WYNN, 3. RUSS (sold wrong time), 4. SCO. Suprising that as a whole, my portfolio still beating the S&P 500 by a good chunk. Need to be willing to take risks to make money I guess. But smarter risks than those - ha! LF was worst decision making on my part -just using whims to make purchases versus a plan. RUSS and SCO pretty bad on that front as well. At least with WYNN, I didn't do anything stupid (YET!), it just went down. I don't mind if I buy a stock and it goes down - that is just part of doing business. I just don't like when I do something stupid when it goes down.
On a side, note, I'm thinking we start a lessons learned thread. It is all fine and good to see how much money every is making on thier good trades (99.999% of stocktwitters are always making perfect trades afterall based on the comments there- haha!), but I think we really learn the most on the bad trades. I try to be honest when the TGMBFS has a bad day, like yesterday. Or we can even talk about the good trades that could have been better - for example on that mega UWTI (like 1.80 to 3+) cycle, I didn't do terrible, but could have made a ton of money if I played it better.
