wasn't paying attention this am or I would maybe have caught that 2.75 high or near it....I was impressed that it closed as high as it did and is still strong in aftermarket. I figure it takes a dive in the pre or it could jump....or it could stay the same.... ;-) ah! if one only knew for sure....then they would make mulah....

And, by your reports, you are doing far better than I am. I did make $577 when liquidating some test positions.

I'm in to some new ones this am, but pretty bad day all around and this POS I almost sold at a $88 loss yesterday...but kept to see it go down $400 today....no money or will do ave. down....not good fundamentals big earnings miss. Only got $2500 in it, so I'll hold for a big jump, then dump....hope the worst is over for it.... Learning experience.

A good dip this morning. With snow storms in some of the cities last/this week, i'm expecting a report with less inventory than expected.

Had a limit in to sell at 2.82 this am.....once it sank and returned to 2.70, I adjusted to 2.78....once it got to 2.75, I contemplated changing back, but found by that time I had already sold 2000s....$840 profit though! 3800s left. 1500 earmarked at 2.92 with basis of 2.54....., but may hold for 3.08 altogether....

Good chance to hit your target tomm.

bought 500 more @ 2.68...Expecting report to be good...

In Premarket, I changed my limit to 2.98, but had to go out to Dr visit...when I got back...astounded to find that ugaz had hit $3 and my target was met... 1500s at 2.98 = 660 profit...or 1500 so far last 2 days.....only 1300s more all designated for 3.08 but depending upon action, I may actually bump to 8.12.....gettin' greedy....

Excellent! It is always nice when any remaining investment is investing the house's money!

Always remember, capital is king, and you just expanded your kingdom for future investments. Every extra $1000 is an extra step towards a million.

Hmm, if this truly is a trend change, in theory, one would be able to keep buying on the way up and make out nicely.  May be risky, but any thoughts?  Maybe start 2.99 small position, and set next buy at 2.50 or 3.50, whichever comes first? Then maybe keep buying at ever $0.50 in either direction?

So far, i'm convinced this is a trend change. Technically, lot of supports - Even if it pullsback, not expecting a huge pull back. Weather still cold in lots of areas - lot different from last year. Injection consenses next week could help too. A small position should be ok i think.

I don't feel that ng has the same natural bias to rise as does oil...but don't have any basis for that.
Right now, I am on the fence though. I have my 2300s at 2.8 ave..... I have a sell limit at 3.08. If I really believe it will run higher by trend, I should not be selling right? But...

The saga has ended....sold it all early at 3.06....In all made $2800 this week and am averaging about $750 per week since January.....hope my new swing trades do as well.....

Not out of the ugaz and uwti game just yet though....I looked to see I missed a buy opportunity today in uwti on a pull back...

I think I will always have some 3x commodities in my portfolio, but a small percentage.

2.69 as of the time of this post.  Getting close to making an entry.  Maybe just a little one at 2.65.

I have a limit for 1000 at 2.65 be surprised if it gets there today....looks like sideways now....?

That is what I'm thinking as well - if it goes down to 2.65, it will probably be overnight.

I'm such a jerk.....both with UWTI and UGAZ....down big with big red candles....did I buy (near) the bottom....NO....looking FOR THE BOTTOM and missed my entry opp......scared that I would put money in and it would go down....and I would get into the same spiral as before.....so what?.....I made really good money on those spirals down and back up.....why not again? Just left money on the table...

Only rationale is that I am doing the other swing trading scheme...combo of TGMBFS and similar picks for Scottrade scanner.....lots of money tied up there, so less to pour into the 3x's.....

Not too bad if you still want to buy.  If one thinks that this is the bottom, buying 15 cents above that is not an issue.  I'm not buying yet.  Just a swag, but I think these could go down still.  Now watch them rise  800% in next month, haha!

I did the same thing with UGLD and USLV.  Waited for the to come down, but they never came down far enough.  Then the last 2 weeks they started running up.

I might just let this play out for a little though and see if NG breaks below 2.90.  Looks like it has been stairstepping down a little.

Next buy 1300s at 2.54

Have a small 750 share limit order set at 2.50.

If this price holds in premarket, will edit above order to 1000 shares at 2.40.

In again earlier at 2.47 according to plan...next buy 1700 at 2.27

Next buy 1250 shares 2.15. 1st buy was 1000 shares 2.40.
